This forest is among one of the world’s few remaining sanctuaries for the red colobus monkey. Covering an expansive 2,512 hectares (6,207 acres) , it earned the designation of a nature reserve back in the 1960s. Jozani boasts an exceptional nature trail with knowledgeable and well-trained guides. It’s advisable to wear appropriate footwear for the tour. Tours are available in the morning and afternoon, with convenient hotel pickups by your driver before transferring you to the enchanting Jozani Forest.
