Prison Island Tour

Once you step onto the island, you’ll have the chance to both feed and interact with the tortoises. If you find the time, consider taking a leisurely stroll through the lush forested interior, where you’ll encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including colorful peacocks, bats, and exquisite butterflies. Be on the lookout for the shy and elusive uikers, a unique tiny antelope species as well. The entire tour typically lasts around 5 hours, comprising 2 hours on the road from your hotel to Stone Town, a 1-hour boat ride from Stone Town to the island, and 2 hours dedicated to exploring the island itself. Pick-up times are available at 9:00 in the morning and 13:00 in the afternoon.
